lyrics

IN DARKNESS BRED

In darkness bred that evil crime,
The heinous of the lot.
The power to live beyond one’s time,
And still away the rot.

In tombs encased with shadow and granite,
The deadly deed is done.
The women in black take their bite,
And eternally reject the sun.

In this lair, with the warning wreath,
The unwary are chastened for death’
The promise end with flash of teeth,
And they supped their final breath.

In a ceremony of dark pleasure,
The near--dead are mounted.
The rhythms extract man’s greatest treasure,
And they relinquish life contented.

In the tradition of the best physician,
The skin of the dead is flayed.
The internals are eaten, toad like vision,
And the bones ……………………………….....
To the ground ……………………………….....
Are lay…..yed.

And the bones ……etc

In this manner to thwart fate,
The vampires remain undead.
The daughters of the night seek a mate,
And in the darkness bred.
